I am pleased to be the first to open this section, and wish god's speed to all who fly in her.... Seriously, corporate aviation is a major part of General Aviation, and most of us who are old and hairy, have been private pilots, who made it into corporate. I was lucky I never saw militery or airline service, always private/corporate.
So lets get this forum off with a bang......Bumzrush

I see that there is no responses so far to Corporate Aviation, but at least some readers. For that I am thankful.
Corporate aviation is a natural target for private pilots, and a good route from Private certificates towards ATPL certification.
The general recession in the USA, which is now spread world wide has effected corporate aviation recruitment, as well as operators, Just look at Ford and GM. A friend is with a "Gum"company in the windy city. Fired.
If I can be of any assistance to any budding Private Jet Jock, please PM me: or E Mail: please use jetstream in header.
Many thanks from FL 510.

There is a slight improvement for those of us seeking employment in corporate aviation.
Mostly in Middle East, and India. I know several guys (brits) in India, and many here in UAE.
Europe is still suffering, and there was ONE job advertised in Flight recently....
Most jobs are all word of mouth, with any written advertisments in the regular employment web sites already gone.
For example, I know of one company in UAE, seeking, Pilots, Chief Pilot, Safety Manager, Fleet captain, and many other positions. The adverts are on one site only.
There is the G5 Captain needed for a midlands operator, it looks good, but the incumbant is a tirant, and should have been put down at birth, (well all the crews that have been burned by him would say.)
There is work out there, but it is hidden by the trees...good hunting.... Bumz
