Hi
Was just thinking about Crashes and ATC's and how often the media actually blame and put pressure on the ATC. As indicated by a recent documentary on TV a Swiss ATc was murdered by the father of a victim of an aircrash . . .

So was it the ATC that were at fault then? I Think they do a fantastic job, (ATC) under great pressure, its not something I think I could ever do...Imagine the pressure of having a skyful of planes in your sector that you had to keep from crashing into eachother, all the while more Planes taking off and landing..."Yikes"!.. and when unfortunatly things do go wrong, its so easy to blame the most obvious person's, namely the Controllers, Pilot error or Mechanical failure, its all tragic... but I couldnt imagine the skies being a very safe place if ATC did not exist, I take my hat off to them! They do a "Fantastic Job"! Its still the safest form of travel there is! I'd rather Fly than Drive!
